Open Positions

It is not always possible to predict openings in the lab. Many factors affect whether we'll be hiring, and if so, who will join: available funding, whether I meet excellent individuals that are a good fit for our lab, and whether there are openings on projects that align with those individuals' interests.

Post-Doctoral Researchers

Exceptional postdoc candidates will always be considered. If you are interested in a post-doctoral position in the lab, please send your CV to Kelsie Pejsa.

PhD Students

If you are interested in joining the lab as a PhD student, the first step is to apply for admission to Caltech's PhD program. Unfortunately, we are unable to respond individually to inquiries from prospective graduate students. Upon acceptance to the program you may contact Professor Andersen for available rotation opportunities.

Undergraduate Research Assistants/Interns

Unfortunately, at this time, we are not accepting lab interns/assistants and we are unable to respond individually to inquiries from prospective students.
